Artist\u2019s Statement:<\/strong>
Embrace Circuit is a transformable wearable light sculpture. Meteorite-textured 18K white-gold forms cradle Burmese jadeite and diamonds, and are strung with Burmese red-jade beads, tracing the orbit of Saturn\u2019s ring. At the instant of magnetic contact, the circuit closes and a gentle light appears\u2014the fractured meteor becomes whole. The work translates intimacy into energy\u2014\u201cembrace = charge\u201d\u2014saluting the entwined bodies in Egon Schiele\u2019s paintings while placing love and hope on the same cosmic orbit as the wearer.
